About 7-8K ago I had some differential chatter when turning corners. I had a local shop change out the fluid and ad the additive ford recommends. The chatter went away for about 1000 miles and has been slowly coming back until now. Anyone have this issue or have any ideas? Should I just ad more additive?? Or have someone open it up and look at it? It doesn't bother me but I'm trying to sell this truck and that would surely turn off a potential buyer.:(

Howell Mi. It BE COLD UP there... your Diff fluid is very thick when its Below 25 deg... lack of flowing lube could give you the symptoms you describe. I don't beleave you have any thing to be concerned about, unless the noise is a major annoyance factor. Its also important thet the Dif. fluid used was synthetic... not blended.. or Dyno... synthic will thicken up when cold but not nearly as bad as a parifin based dyno.
