is such crap! i regret it every time i buy it. i had to kill time the other day, stepped into walgreens to buy a soda, looked for a fishing magazine, they had none. saw diesel power and one of the headlines was "266 page issue"

i thought about it, and considered my bad experiences in the past and decided to give them another chance.

this month- "How to make money with your truck" they suggest hauling cars with a 2-3 car trailer. no mention of insurance. no mention or the risks. "you can gross $900/day"

EGR elimination kits- they don't give a 'fair and balanced' discussion. just spend $$$ and rip the thing out.

their product reviews seem to be written my the manufacturers of the products.

i think 200 pages of the issue were adds for edge tuners, diablo tuners, superchips tuners.

i want my $5 back!

Could be worse. Pick up a copy of Diesel World and look at the cover. There's a guy on the cover doing a 4wd burn-out with a Bud lite on the dash. I think I posted already on here about this, not sure. And in the mag there's more pictures of the truck with a can of beer on the dash. Your right, Diesel power has gotten bad and Diesel Tech every other issue is all ad's.

I tried Powerstroke Registry magazine many years ago.

After a while it became apparent it was little more than a Banks catalog with a different cover, so I cancelled it.

One of our members from OB got a mention in the July issue of Diesel Power and he also slipped in a prop for Oilburners.net.

That article, on EGR delete kits, happens to have been written by one of our sponsors here at SDD.com and he does only freelance work, is the owner of an 04 cc F250, and happens to live about 30 miles from me, heck he even got my truck in 8-lug magazine last year.
