i have an o6 f250 has anybody took the badges off if so does it take the paint off or is there a whole behind it or does it look awsome???:dunno thanks

You use fishing line to "saw off" the badge and your left with some glue residue and foam, which you can remove with elbow grease, wd40, goop off, etc... It will not take the paint off this way. However, you will be left with the holes for the locater pins on the stock badges. It's fine if your going to replace them with billet badges or the like, but to remove them completely, you will have to get the holes filled and painted. (this is for the f-250 badges, the powerstroke badges are just stuck on, no locater holes.)

i can't confirm for an 06 but on my 03, i understand that holes would be present on certain emblems. have used a heat gun to extract glued on ones before, do it all the time. no paint problems ever.
