Deadly bus crash

i guess most of yall have seen the news about the deadly bus crash that occured in huntsville, al yesterday. huntsville is about 45 miles northwest fo me.

they just reported on the news that a 4th. student has died from the injuries she sustained from the crash.

a total of 4 young girls have been killed from the crash. there are still several others that are in critical condition.

the bus went off the I565 on ramp and fell about 30 ft. to the ground below, and landed on its driver's side top.

yall keep these families in your thoughts please.

This makes me so mad and sick at the same time. Maybe this will revive some discussion on seat belts in buses. But then, if noone has been willing to mandate them yet, this isnt likely to do anything.

Yap, I been across that bridge many a time. I just love running west on that hiway and coming down the big hill and the light changes to RED on you, and you are running 45 MPH with a 40,000 LB load on.It is a bad place for sure.
Our prayers are with these familys, right here at Thanksgiving and all.

I heard about that too. Really sad. I also heard that a teenage driver might have clipped the back of the bus sending it over the edge. If that's true, the kid should have the book thrown at him/her.
