Well, they got everything apart on my truck and found the input shaft and main gear cluster are shot. What happened is tht the clutch I put in itin December broke. The clutch plate broke by one of the springs and caused the input shaft to vibrate and wobble, that in turn killed the pilot bearing and the input shaft vibrated wobbled more and more until the main gear cluster was damaged.
Tranny is being replaced at the rune of $2400.00 and I finnaly got O'Rielly's to warranty the clutch. The clutch was originaly replaced in Feb of '05 and then failed in Dec '05 and they replaced it under warranty. This time they didn't want to warranty it saying it was a 1 year warranty from the original purchase date. Trouble is, the original reciept say "Life Time Warranty". Actually took a call from an arroney friend with the thret filling suit for the cost of clutch, transmission and lost wages from down time to get them to warranty it.
Thats my last clutch from O'Rielly's and I think I will be replacing this one with a Luke or South Bend later this summer, when I have some money again.
