Dale, Jr. In The 5 Car

Did you all hear about what happened in today's race at Texas Motor Speedway? Kyle Busch and Dale, Jr. both wrecked, and Dale parked his car after 301 laps. Busch's crew had been working on his car for awhile, after he told them to load it into the hauler thinking it was too torn up to fix. They got the car ready to go and didn't have a driver because Busch had left, so the jackman called Dale, Jr to see if he'd finish the race in the 5 car. Junior checked with his crew chief, Tony Eury, Jr. who told him to go ahead. Junior drove the last 9 laps in the 5 car, and finished the race. Of course, that sparked rumors about Junior and Hendricks, but he said no way, he was just helping a fellow driver.

Good sportsmanship. Jr is a class act. #5 finished in the next spot after the number #8. Big gap in lap #'s finished. Fantastic race by the way. Wish I could have been out there. I did go to the Busch Race on Saturday and it was pretty good too.

....was watching the race, but didn`t see that....jr seemed pretty upbeat about the accident when they did interview him afterwards....i think i would have been a liitle upset with kyle bush....but that`s me...

We watched the race also,we thought it went very well despite an early caution and the late incident that took Jr. out of the lead.

Busch dyno'd Jr while avoiding a wreck..

I thought it was a pretty cool thing to do..

I wouldn't worry about Jr. driving for Hendrick, but I would believe him driving for Richard Childress..

I was really hoping for Kenseth to win, but I'm ok with Burton winning.

Well I wanted Kenseth to win also that's my driver, but the last 5 laps sure were fun to watch them two going at it. Plus Burton is a class act he's not like the rainbow warrior and his tool man from lowes.
