gotta ? with the d50 in the SD's. my buddy has a early 99 250. we were wondering if the spindles and ball joints from and obs 350 would fit on to the d50 /60 in the SD's. being hes running 38s he wants to get away from the expensive @ss seal wheel bearings on the super duty and just go with the stronger 2piece non-sealed ones. from looking at pics and what not it looks like it is do-able and will fit. maybe some steering linkage issues. just wanted to see if anyone else out there has tried and or done this.

I havent heard anything about changing out the knuckles from an older Superduty, but you may have issues with the standard to metric bolt pattern on the hubs...I myself was on the quest of converting an older 87-91 D60 with the standard 8x6.5 bolt pattern. Dynatrac sells metric conversion hubs for Chevy and Dodge, but not for Fords! Go figure...Anyways, thats about as far as I got. IIRC, Dynatrac sells a conversion kit for the Superduties that convert the expensive hubs to servicable hubs for the low price of about $2300!!!

The D50 is just a D44 Hybrid, Its a center from a d44 and the tubes and shafts from a D60.. Im pretty sure (dont hold me to it ) that you can use the stuff from a newer Dodge with a D60 in the front but good luck trying to find one
