Coolant filter install question

Down and dirty.... feed to the filter from the plug in the side of the water pump, return from the filter to the overflow?

if what you are asking is what is the thread on the square pipe plug on the drivers side of the water pump, then its regular pipe thread, either 1/4NPT or 3/8NPT. whatever it is, its hardware store type stuff.

I did mine a little differently. I tee'd into both heater core hoses.
