I saw this article http://www.gazettetimes.com/articles/2006/05/09/news/top_story/news01.txt that was in a news link on www.gasbuddy.com.
It's about a shop in Oregon that's converting diesel engines to run on biodiesel. I didn't think that diesel engines have to be converted. Didn't Rudolf Diesel originally demonstrate his engine by running it on pure peanut oil?

neat article, I find it humorous that he is selling it at 2.30 when #2 is 2.29.
when i bet he is making it for close to 50 cents a gallon plus his state taxes, transportation etc, he is prolly clearing 1.50 per gallon of profit
good ol supply and demand. I am sure he gets good deals on his chemicals since he processes so much oil

rudolph , used coal dust also, it was everywhere at the time

i ran the 7.3 on peanut oil quite often, mixed with #2, never had any issues, excpet spilled peanut oil is very very slick.

I live about 10 miles from Corvallis and this guy does not make his own, he buys it from Pacific Biodiesel. It really is quite expensive for him because of the limited quantity that he buys and having to have it delivered. Those guys retrofit older diesel engines with new hoses etc so they can run bio. They also do a lot of wvo conversions. That article in the paper was not done very well.

Hi back
pop over to teh intor section and say HEY, that way everyone can shout back .

yes it can 5% right now is the official Ford word, I expect that to change soon, like before the end of the year maybe.... we can hope

personally i think they are on the fence due to the vast differences in QUALITY of some bio fuels. some here have run into some odd problems.

once that settles down it shouldnt be long before all three go YES its ok
read this
and here
and here
but hey i am just one old retired redneck

The article was talking about 4 or 5 different guys, it was really hard to understand who was who. One guy does car retrofits for older diesels and wvo, one guys makes bioprocessors, one guy works for Sequential Biofuels, one guy owns a gas station that supplies bio. It is all very confusing.
