Conti TR Tires, All Terrain????

Hi Folks,

Got into a discussion with my dealer about the ContiTrac TR's on my F350. He says according to Ford, the tires are All Terrain and there is some confusion about it. I say, the tire is an All Season Highway tire. Everthing I can find and even an e-mail from Continental says the tires are not All Terrain. What ticks me off is the fact I paid extra for All Terrain tires and got Highway tires. What should I do now? Has anyone else run into the same problem with Ford?

My Contis are rare in that they are still in good shape with 37K on the clock. But I would not call them an all-terrain tire by any stretch of the imagination.

I've heard good things about these tires I'll have to look into them when it does finally come around to replacing the shoes on the Beast. It helps that my good mechanic friend is a Bridgestone dealer!
