This is the second time I have had some problems with the breaks.First problem was my power breaks and steering went at the same time. Let the truck sit for overnight and the problem seemed to go away.? This time the front breaks were feeling stiff and truck seemed to be lagging on the highway they locked up on me when I came to a stop, I shut the truck off and restarted it and the problem went away, making me think it is a computer problem maybe??? I work in the oilfield so I do an average of 10000km a month. I think I need to get this thing into a shop with a code reader??

personally, I think your problem is a junk p/s pump...

Fords are notorious for the relief valve sticking in the pump, and of course, no one ever flushes their power steering fluid, because that's just the mechanic trying to rip you off, right?

I actually flushed mine with the shop's transmission flusher... make sure you siphon some fluid off before you shut the appamaratamus down, or you're going to be cleaning it up off the fender...
