I got ahold of some air horns off an old ambulance...one is 14" long, the other 17" long. they are loud as h*ll, which is just right for me :D Id like to put them on my truck.

what size/where would I get an onboard compressor to run these on my F-250?

TIA :notworthy

Trainhornkits .com or Google Train horns and look for the best price.

I have two fire engine horns, 5 gallon tank and a compressor that fill 110 to 150 psi that hook into my horn button

I put my air horns under the cab, on the passengers side of the frame. They are loud enough to be heard clearly.

This is the writeup a lot of us used as reference to installing the horns under the cab. I have 29" and 26" hadleys mounted under each side of my cab and attached like this:

The Hadley Twins!

Here is how he installed his compressor as well.

On Board Air

Mine is in my truck box since its a 550 and not sealed.

Hope it helps.
