One of my racing friends has an 05 Dodge and was raving about it ever since he bought it. I got a 2000 F350 dually in May with the 7.3 Powerstroke and today I compared some things. The Dodge is much much noiser than my Ford, especially the injector clacking. Even though he has a six, my engine is much easier to work on, especially for little things such as the headlight mod I did. On the Dodge I could not see the light bulb connector. His air intake is right beside the turbo and even with an aftermarket filter and box it still sucks in massive amounts of hot air? We made some aluminum pieces to fully close off his intake from the heat. I noticed the dually rides smoother even without a trailer than the Dodge, probably the springs but I get no sag when I hook up the 33 foot 5th wheel so that is good. Just some thoughts as I guess I made a good decision.
