Cold air intake

Which cold air intake preferred by most of yall? Christmas is coming and my wife is already asking what I want so I better start getting the info needed for her to order. Also, does it make the turbo louder? A friend of mine just put one on his 06 Cummins and really made the turbo noise come to life. Any info from the POWERSTROKE GODS would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

tymar but it can also be DIY for under a hundred dollars.and yes itll make the turbo louder.

the tymar is good. but if i could have anything i wanted i would get the AFE stage 2 with the good yellow pro? progaurd whatever it's called 7 filter on it. that is a very nice intake. the tymar is like 175 bucks or so and the AFE is 450. that is why i dont have one.

I really like the Tymar....

Its hard to beat an 1100 CFM Air filter that doesnt need oil (thats a plus for me) THAT is less than $150

can the tymar be used on a 6.0L, diff. size or something than the 7.3 ?

Yup, Tymar. Had mine for four years now. I used the old stock air box for a bird's nest. That's its best use as far as I'm concerned.
