I switched to a South Bend clutch and the pedal effort is way less than the stock one was. There is a spring hooked to you clutch pedal lever under the dash that could maybe be replaced with one that would make the clutch work easier. I'm sure someone else here can help figure it out.
The spring under the dash works in both ways. At the top of the swing, it pulls the pedal out. At the bottom of the swing, it holds it in (to reduce the force needed to hold it in) sort of like a recurve bow. Putting a lighter or stiffer spring will only help with half the movement of the pedal, and will actually hinder with the other half.
When I put the south bend clutch in my truck, the pedal feel was SUPER light. I don't know what they do different, but it certainly made the pedal go in a lot easier.
As far as your question, as I recall, the springs that dictate the pressure of the clutch pedal are in two places. The clutch pressure plate assembly and the master cylinder. I do not know of aftermarket MC springs, but I do know south bend pressure plates definitely help.
Sorry I couldn't help more.
