this summer i will be getting a chip for my truck. my first question is what is the best chip i can buy for a OBS truck? my second question is what power profiles should i get? i want a high idle and a stock, but what profile is best for towing? and what other profiles would be good to have?

79broncoidi had problems with his on 140, because the heui pump could not keep up. it would bog out if he floored it.

He's the one you want. I use the 40 tow for everyday driving. 80 when that little extra is called for, and I don't use the High Setting very often, mostly 'cuz I can tell the tranny doesn't like the extra power. I towed with the chip for the fisrt time last weekend. 40 is good, 80 is a bit much(have to watch egt's) I also have baby swamps and Tony's chip REALLY woke them up.

dang. his chips are a tad expensive. but i'm sure if y'all pick him then i won't regret spending the extra money on his chip over the DP-Tuner chip
