Since my DP-Tuner chip was installed the wait to start light does not come on when I start it in the morning. Any ideas? :dunno Otherwise, it functions perfectly and starts right up.

did you clean the contacts in the PCM good?or too good and removed some of the contacts all together?try pulling the chip out and putting it back in and see what happens.no need to remove the PCM to do this.just remove the 3 nuts that hold the E brake assembly in place and pull it out of the way and reach in the hole and pull the chip out and put it back in.my ebrake is loose so that i can pull the chip on the road if needed.

I have noticed with my chip that in the mornings I have a much shorter WTS time and if the truck is warm or has been run recently I will sometimes have no WTS either. Give Jody a call and ask him if he adjusted any of the timers.

What 'stroker said. If EOT is above 50° F the truck will start without glowplugs anyway on a standard PCM calibration. Could be they programmed accordingly???

BTW if I drove the truck the day before, EOT will still be in the 50-60° range the next morning even if temps were in the high 30's

the 95s WTS and glow plugs will come on all the time for the same length of time unless you have put the TDE1 PCM in it or had the chip burnt for the TDE1 PCM.with the TDE1 the glow plugs only come on under 50 degrees and when needed

Problem solved. :sweet Forgot to re-connected the wire harness to the back of the dash cover.
