Hi, all

Since I coked my old injectors up with WVO, by not purging like I should... I'm doing much better now taking care of my new set of Stage 1s.

But have a question on checking for coking... Is there any one injector I could take out for a look-see that would give me an overall idea of how the rest of them are doing?

Please don't tell me its on the passanger's side next to the firewall...

Thanks :thanks

RoReRi-

Any pics fo how they were coked up? Can you describe how to properly purge and improperly purge?

I am starting to build my WVO conversion.

Yea...They looked like they had a thick brown uneven condom on the tips. I think maybe one hole squirted the juice...

RoReRi... BTW see the vegistroke site.:thumbs

Hard to test the injectors for coking without a test fixture. Problem is they can looked totally carboned up on the outside, but still have enough of an opening for the nozzles to squirt through. The big problem is when coking starts occuring inside the tiny nozzles. Can't see it without a microscope. Easiest to see the effect on the spray pattern on a test fixture. I suppose if you disassembled one you could force fluid thru the tip and perhaps tell enough from that.

OH poo....:( I was hoping that a visual would do...

Anyway my injectors were caked with yabbie chit at least a 32nd and maybe more in spots...
A visual was all that was needed on the bad ones.:censored:
I was hoping that I could do a visual and just check if they were coking up on the outside at least. And was hoping that someone would tell me that the injector to check was the drivers side second from the front...:D

Thanks!
