can a burnt chip be fixed?

i was interested in buying a chip from someone until i found out it fried .is there a way to have them fixed or would it not even be worth it. on that note does anyone have a chip they would like to sell for a first gen psd?

They are NO GOOD when the smoke escapes. Do not buy burned electronics.

It takes someone very very small to put the smoke back into electronic devices that have let it escape. I myself have gotten small before, but not small enough to put smoke back into the small integrated circuits (chips) for our trucks...

im lookin for a nice upgrade that wont shorten the life of my tranny ,or i should say my stock clutch.i have stock injectors and i would like to get as much fuel threw them as i can,which i have heard would make around 75hp,my tranny is a zf 5 speed.i was leanin towards a programmer cause there a little cheaper.if you have one would you be interested in a possible trade,check out the parts for sale forum,my brushguard is in it,let me know.
