I think it should be somewhere between $50-$200.

Mine has allways been around $75 a year ;)

But I am in Collin County with Bill :)

i got 75 then 250 then 200 then a flate rate of 50 plus a scale for weight based on gvwr, not empty weight

then the rv was a flate rate based on lenght, then a sliding scale based on gvwr, which worked out to over 200
thats friggin nuts

i get broken vet plates her for 20 a year on one vehicle then full price for the remaining ones

i even got a three page email from the dmv and it never pinned down an amount

200 a year for the rv is one thing but not over 200 for the truck
plus a bridge tax. i looked while we were out in quitman friday, counted only one bridge of any size, it ran over the lake, can only imagine the fee for it.

Hey I look @ the tax figures and didn't find anything too wrong with them but the of course I'm used to the taxes based on living in the metro atlanta area.

My truck in sig was right around 140, DD '94 mazda b3000 was 60, and the little utility trailer was 21, all include the basic tag fee which IIRC is 18-20.

My mom was complaining about her '01 BMW 325 for just over 300, little bro's '02 F250 CC was 280.

As long as we are going w/ the mfr's weight we don't have to pay any sliding scale on weight unless we're over 10kGVW (trucks 2axles).

This may make you feel a little better about paying $200+ for tags.
For the 2 vehicles in my sig I pay over $1000.00/yr for tags.(Not a misprint)
Jeep=$416.00,Truck=$628.00.I think I better hurry up and develop my land in NM.

Powerboatr, I couldn't live in 29 Palms,Ca. Them people out there must all have lots more money they us poor old dirt farmers back here in the south and southwest. When I left Texas my tags for the old crewcab was $79.00 per year. The Fifth wheel was $79.00 per year, I lived in Dallas Country back then.. Got to Arkansas and the tags for the truck was $29.00 and the fifth wheel was three years for $31.00. Sounds good right. Suckers didn't tell me I still owed them another $400.00 for property tax that would be due in Oct..LOL
