Anyone have a clue if you need to be the original owner for a Ford buyback? I bought mine from a private party w/ 14K on the clock.

My understanding of the program is yes. But how old is the truck? If it is less than three years old, you can still use the factory warranty. I believe it carries over. And the engine is covered for 5 years or 100K, with a $100 deductable after 3 years or 36,000 miles.
