Howdy all,
I was wondering if it would be possible to add a link or something that listed parts, tools, equipment made in America? For instance I was at Orielly's today and and bought a KD brake spring tool made in America. It was more than the Chinese made one (about $8.00 more) but I am willing to pay the higher cost. As a side note the Wall Street Journal reported today that some manufacturing jobs are coming back to the US because of problems in other countries and the companies did not experience a significant savings by moving their operations to other out of the U.S.

i almost always opt for the american made tools.... not only are the made here but the also are usually the one ones with lifetime warrentys!!!!

I buy American every chance I get Sometimes I wonder if there is a little trickery going on. I purchased a new Honda 4-wheeler the other day and it is built in the USA according to the sticker on it but I wonder if it isn't just assembled in the USA?

Artic Cat and Polaris are the only two American made ATV's I know but run parts from out of town. The Cat has a Suzuki engine and the Polaris has a Fuji powerplant.

I dont doubt for a single moment that the Honda is MADE/ASSEMBLED in the US. Where is Honda's corpprate HQ located?


Polaris is located in Roseau, MN. and Cat's HQ is Thief River Falls, MN.

Just what the sticker say's... Could very well be a marketing trick. I know when the United States Coast Guard started buying Honda outboards for there small craft they went with Honda because they were the best outboard built in the USA.
