I just installed pyro and boost gauges today:) . I have a question about the boost gauge. What boost numbers should I expect to see? I have a stock truck and I really have to nail it to the floor to max rpm to see anything near 15 lbs boost. At 55 mph cruise I see about 1 lb. At idle no boost. Is this typical or do I have a leak in the air line?

By the way, install was much easier than I expected. The only thing that made me nervous was drilling and tapping the exhaust manifold. Turns out it was a piece of cake.

14-16 lbs is normal for a stock truck. And it takes a bit of wide open throttle to get it too.

In my '97 I saw max 15 psi boost too with stock injectors and no chip. The boost only rises when the turbo is compressing more air in to the cylinders creating more power. At 55 mph the turbo is not activated thus minimal or no boost. IMO what you're seeing is normal. At sea level the air pressure is 14.7 psi. A boost reading of 7 psi is a 50% increase in power, less the waste in inefficiency and reading of 15 psi is about double power.

Do the 6.0's put out more boost? I can peg 30 in a heartbeat if I floor it :burnit I am sure I have it installed right per DieselManor instructions. I installed it two different ways and both with the same boost results. Are the other 6.0's seeing these boosts? :watchout
