He's right on the the Edge of the sound barrier doing that.

They did that same fly-by maneuver here localy. Cracked a few Sky-Lite panels on some below ground buildings with that shock wave you see on the water.

Them guys are Awesome.

i thought that was the water being "disturbed" as he flew so closely to

Blue Angles are cool but after 4 yrs of them flying over your head 2x aweek, they get really old. When I was stationed at NAS in Pensacola, they use our Coast Guard Cutter as a center point to practice their routines. Cool video though. Wish I could find mine from the Cutter when they fly right at you.

i did some computer systems work w/ the heli-repair guys
@ gulfport nas many years ago....those fly boys in the jets
were so loud when they took off i was sure my ears
were gonna bleed

I hear ya Justin.

I did 18 "Air Shows" with them, or the "Thunder Birds" (Fuel stuff) . after about 4 or 5, it got to be routine. But never the less, Amazeing.

Watching the video in short blips, you can see it's a seagull, prolly just soiled his tailfeathers.
