How much does it cost to plug the truck in for say 8 hours over night? I am talking about on the electric bill.

If I remember correctly a gooood amount as it pulls alot of electricty. Exacts I cant remember...

Quated from another site, but I thought it was more like 30 cents a hour??

Shrug, its 1000 watts so where ever you are and your electricity is, would be your cost!

1000 watts = 1 KW. Check with your utility company what you pay for a killowatt but I doubt its much over 15 cents. So, its 15 cents an hour or roughly 1.20 a night (8 hours) and if you are concerned about spending a buck a night then you can purchase a timer to turn it on 4 hours before you plan to start in each morning.

Get you a timer like Mike said, make sure it's rated for 15 amps. Set it to come on about 3-4 hours before you leave and you're good to go.

Oh don't forget to unplug it before you drive off..........don't ask

i did testing on mine with a special meter... cant find my exact spec sheet i made up ,will look for it later..... but if i remeber correctly it was only about .09 cents an hour if that. i'll look for my paper later and report back.

Ya it was because someone told me its $3 a night which I thought was alot, I should get a timer for it maybe next time I am at the store.
