For those of you who are used to paying $18.00 for an oil sample from Blackstone, they have raised their price. This is from an email from them received today.

Hello from Blackstone Laboratories!

This e-mail is to inform you that your discounted sample price is now
$20.00.
If you included a check for a sample that is already in transit,
you will not be charged for the extra cost.

Our prepaid discount prices have not changed.
If you would like to prepay for your samples and get even more of a
discount, please visit our website at
http://www.blackstone-labs.com and click on Orders/Order Now.

Sincerely,

The Blackstone Team

I got the same e-mail.

Tried to order some more sample bottles but it wouldn't take my order. :(

still $17 when you buy 6 at a time. that's 102 for 6 instead of 135.

A six pack is always better than a single :drink

Even at the new price, it's still worth every penny.

agreed...and if you do your own oil changes, and buy your filters
(some place other than the dealer) youre STILL ahead of the game
including the oil testing cost.

I think its money well spent, the 22.50 is a drop in the bucket compared to a lot of the stuff we buy and not only for our beloved trucks.

I pay $10 at our local coop. It gets sent in to a Cenex lab. It seems to be very complete and they keep trac of your truck and inform you if it changes to much from the last test.
