Bought my first two tanks of B20 this weekend and am very impressed..........!!! :thumbs

My truck ran much quiter and smoother. My wife even noticed it. :sweet

Seat of the pants dyno suggests better throttle response at highway speeds.

I hope this stuff becomes more available in this area as I will go out of my way to buy it.

If Diesel in your area is say, $2.69.9 and you have a Sam’s Wholesale Club within Driving Distance you can make it happen.

32 Gallons of Diesel @ $2.69.9 = $86.37
8 Gallons of 100% Soybean Oil @ $2.88 = $23.04
$109.41 for 40 Gallons

40 Gallons of That mixture would average $2.73.5 per gallon!!

BTW: the higher the price of the Diesel the closer the average cost!!

That is really only 3.6 cent Higher!!

The less money going to Arabs and Oil Companies the better, I say!!

Closest for me is 25 miles away, They said it was B99 and cost is $3.33 per gallon. I can get dino diesel for $3.05 right now.

I have been thinking about a WVO conversion. How well does a 01 powerstroke take to this swap?

....snip...

Except that would be an SVO blend, not biodiesel...
Many are doing just that tho...

On my second tank and love it made it idle and run way smoother....no more clang of the diesel a nice smooth purrrrr...
I'm lucky found a B20 dealer 2 blocks from work so I just fill up after I leave in the morning. Hey Bill is it after the second tank that I change the fuel filter or what??? Noticed someone said you might need to change it with all the gunk it cleans out of the fuel system. Oh another plus is diesel by the house is 2.75 and up were my B20 is 2.66 a gal. :D :D :D

Justin I had to change my fuel filter after the second run of BioD in our Excursion, you may even notice the engine is abit quieter due to a little more fuel pressure, our's came up 2-3 psi.

Jot down the location of the place down by your work you get BioD from as I'm in Dallas on a weekly basis on business, post up the location when you get back:sweet

:thanks Bill

Every new bio user post is just a :nutkick: !

This sucks, I may have to go try the RK Travel Center again. Definitely taking a large glass container to see what I'm getting before putting it in the tank.

A :nutkick: in the right direction! I just filled up with B-100 and I like it for many reasons: engine ran quieter, no more dependence on foreign oil, great lubricity, non-noxious exhaust, no foaming at the pump, and it helps the local economy...not to mention that the exhaust makes me hungry for french fries.
