First,buy and read this book:

Lots of good info. Yes, there are ready made kits. Yes, they are very expensive. You can however build your own processor at home using an old electric hot water heater. The book will teach you how to do it. Start doing some reading on the sites that are linked in sticky post of this forum. Look past the hippie talk, there is a lot of good info. There are no modifications required. There has been some debate about running B100 (100% bio diesel, not blended with any dino diesel.) in the 6.0 but I'm not really familiar with that engine so I won't take a side or even guess about it. I have been home brewing for over a year now. I have bought 75 gallons of diesel in that time and I have not any fuel problems. No power loss. You will need to replace the fuel filter after switching to bio diesel. I changed mine about 1000 miles into it and it was pretty dirty. Bio d will clean your entire fuel system better than any additive and all that crud will end up on your filter. The process of brewing takes about 3-4 days. It takes me about 45 minutes to mix a batch on day 1. Day 2, drain the glycerin, transfer to wash tank, conduct first mist wash: 45minutes. Day 3, drain water and conduct 2nd mist wash and when complete, turn on the bubbler and let it run overnight. Day 4, drain water, pump fuel through a 10 micron fuel filter/water separator, and then on to a 5 micron fuel filter. My total set up cost was about $450. The kits generally run over $3K.
