Having trouble getting my 03 7.3liter started. The starter turns, but isn't engaging. Can the Bendix be replaced on these, and if so, anybody have a source? Or do I just need to buy a whole starter? Also, when I had the brakes done at a dealer recently, he kept mentioning the starter, but he also kept saying I'd need a new flywheel. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there isn't a flywheel on an automatic is there? It would have a flexplate bolted to the torque converter, right?
