Go to Ford and get the Motorcrafts that they sell. You might spend a few more bux than you would at Walmart or Autozone but you wont look at the batteries for another 5 years either.

Price the Interstate Megatron 875s. I swear by them. IIWY I wouldn't get anything weaker than two 875s.

Five years heck.. Motorcraft batteries last much longer than five years :sweet I have tried all kinds of batteries in all different kinds of rigs and Motorcraft batteries are the only ones that out-last most cars..

Yeah, I know that but if you start making all these wild claims of 7,8 and 9 years then people just call BS, so its simpler to keep it real. ;)

In my opinion it's always better to go with the highest CCA battery that is recommended for your particular vehicle. I have a F-250 7.3, which has 2 batteries and each are 1100 CCA. I also live in FL and while the cold is hard on a battery, the heat down here is very hard on them also. Better to have than to have not in my opinion.

Heat is much harder on them than cold. While cold drops the CCA heat kills the battery for good. My batteries last twice as long as guys that live in Arizona. Everything lasts longer in the freezer :tounge

I went back to a Ford dealer and got two new ones. Hope they last longer.
