Does anyone know of a Banks dealer in East Tennessee? I live in Maryville (Marvell) and have written Banks on their customer line and have NEVER gotten a response. My Stinger chip I had in there either got deprogrammed or something when the dealer put in a new IDM and reprogrammed it. DAMN YANKEE's (Boston, while I was working and SOL as to where to take it, but I got took) So I was wondering if Banks (or one of their dealers) could check the program on the chip or reprogram it? Any info would be wonderful and even from the Damn Yankee's :tounge

FWIW, from personal experience, if you got your PCM reflashed by DP Tuner with a 80hp econo tune, your truck will run better than with the Banks chip. So much better that you'll have to go see a plastic surgeon to get the grin removed.

Believe me, I've been down the very road you are on. I had a Stinger Plus kit. I was so disapointed with it I got rid of it all. I replaced it with DP Tuner tuning, a MBRP exhaust and an Ford AIS just for starters. Night & day difference.

Thanks Gunner, I will start saving my money now, hopefully for a DP Tuner F-6 chip. That thing sounds wild. I just hope the old lady here doesn't go acting like a r___d ape. Guess this time I should tell here when I buy something on EBAY....lol

A PCM flash really isn't that expensive. You can get one tune a lot quicker budget wise than having to wait to save for a chip. When you do get a chip, just specify to have one setting as "stock" and it'll run the flash on the PCM. :sweet

Dont get a 2000 stock program, they really suck... Get a more modern one that
will keep the TC locked when the brakes are applied. I think mine is based
on a 2003. Git it from TDP (Total Diesel Performance). TC will stay locked when
slowing and the brakes are on.
