Alright, FNG here. I've googled everything to figure out how to wire some aux back up lights on my '06 and can't seem to find the exact answer.

Which is the correct way to wire them using only my upfitter switches? Where do you run the wire from the engine compartment to the back bumper? Relay still needed?

Help!

:dunno I ran a 10 ga. wire from the Key On side of the starter soliniod, under the vent lip, to 20 amp breaker on the d-side firewall, then to a switch in the cab, then to the rear of the truck, following the d-side frame rail. I tapped into the Ford back-up light wire (chincy stuff IMO) for 12v power to a Relay when in reverse only. The 12v FOR the Aux lights comes from the 10ga. wire.

Wired like that (?) I have the Ford Backup lites Only, Or AUX backup lites too... If I want them, controlled by the switch. (In your case, an Upfitter Switch)
