Back to work!!

I had a job interview last Thursday with a construction company, for a Finish Carpenter. I thought the interview went very well. He said he would get back to me one way or the other. I did not hear, so I thought he passed on me. Just before noon today he called and asked when I could start. I told him I could begin on Thursday. I have been out of work for most of a year now. Glad to have the job!!! I hope this one last a couple of years and then retirement!!!

Glad to hear it Dave.

I start school a week from today. I'm looking forward to it, I'm tired of doing nothing for better part of a year now.

So you're going to be Finnish carpenter??

I heard a joke about a certain Jewish carpenter.
Everybody says he was supposed to be a carpenter anyhow.
But there were never any stories about him ever building anything. All the stories were about him standing around talking to people telling stories and lessons and such.

Maybe he worked for the city.

congrats man...i decided to go back to school after being unemployed twice in a year ... waiting to be stimulated

I am too old to go back to school, but I can take an early retirement; but don't want to. Work is best.
