Question Anyone in Maryville,TN got a scan tool to loan for a second?

My 2000 F350 is ka'puts. The SES light is on and it runs like crap :rant. Put remaned injectors in last week (BEANS stock) and it has ran fine for about 200 miles, and then today I went to start it and it ran for about 30 seconds fine then started missing, sputtering and now can't even pull itself out of my back yard.....any suggestions and a $20 bill get anyones attention?

I usually go to a transmission or local diesel shop (not the dealer) and they can scan it for $20....if you don't have any luck on here. Sounds like you might want to take it back to Beans if they did the work. Good luck:sweet

Thing about it is. It won't make it out of my back yard...........will barely rev up in park. Then in gear won't pull itself up small hill.....IDK! Thanks!!!!

Can't get it on a trailer? I would think it would have something to do with their work since it happened in so little milage.

Thanks Smokey, my race trailer isn't big enough to get it on there.....and the truck couldn't pull the incline. Earlier, after I unplugged the batteries and hooked them back up it sputtered for a second and started to run, I went to open the gate to leave and as soon as I got back in I put it in gear and sputter, sputter and would not even barely move......

sure sounds like you've lost a whole bank of injectors. if you can work on it, i would check the harness on top of the valve covers and then pull the covers off and see if any of the connectors are damaged and/or disconnected. give that a go and let us know who things look.

Will do Dogman and thanks, started it today and let it sputter for about 30 min, turned it off and started it back giving it pedal as soon as it started and it caught and ran. I got it out of the back yard and have drove it around town starting and stopping with no problems (jinxed myself now) so IDK. Will the codes still be in there if I take it to a shop without the SES light on? Thanks all.

The codes, if they are there in the first place, won't just go away over night. They will stay in memory for X number of starts. How many is X? 6, I think or more.
