I love mine. I cruise around on the 60hp tune for daily driving, and I throw the 100hp tune in there when I want to play.

I lost about .9 mpg from the stock tune to the 60hp tune, but that may be from my twitchy right foot. :D

I had one installed a couple of months ago. Initially there were some programming problems, but after it was straightened out I am very pleased.

"Some" have rumored that it generates high Cylinder pressures which contribute to puking and head gasket issues....

I had one on y 03 Ex for 30K miles - ran it on the 100hp setting ALL the time..
ran it hard all the time and it was fine when I traded it in on the 05 Ex...

ran one in my 02 7.3 dually
absolutley loved the performance and mpg gain running in the 80 load
but it could and did rattle the injectors if you firewall it
egts could ramp up quitefast if you dont watch it
oh and SMOKE baby smoke .:sly :sly :sly

JohnBoyToo,

Those programming issues were solved long ago, if anyone has an old one you can update it for free via the web!! We sell a lot of them and it's a very good programmer for a "normal" HP lover, if you want to go crazy then you have to go other directions etc.

well so far so good:thumbs . been taking it easy with it since no gauges (yet) and hadn't had a chance to get the exhaust on. I got the exhaust on this weekend so......gonna start runninng the 80. not hard since i got no pyrometer to monitor egt's.
Did have minor problem when i first used it, had to call Diablosport to get a password to force stock programming back into truck, but since then no problem. Diablosport said the older(7.3PSD) ecm sometimes were quirky like that.

I hate mine

I have the predator and on the 100 hp tune my truck bucks and jerks at wot. It does not do it on the 40 or 60 hp tunes. only on the 100 hp tune. I canott run that program. I have called diablo and they supposedly sent me 5 or 6 new 100 hp tunes to fix it but does not work...I would go with sct tuner for future references but you cant beat a free programmer:sly

Yep, mark...
like I said "some" said -- not me :) - it did well on my 03 Ex....

and personally had a lot fewer issues than I have had with the xCal2....

but I still like the xcal2 best .... just this cold weather makes it bang too hard in the mornings - so it's stock again :)
