What sort of April fools joke did everyone pull or have pulled on them today?

Mrs TG works nights. When she got home, she wrapped some scotch tape around the spray nozzle for the kitchen sink. Then she crawled into bed and passed out.

I get up a couple hours later. I went into the kitchen and go to the sink to rinse out my big gulp mug to prepare it for a full load of morning caffine. I turn the faucet on and immediately get soaked along with the floor and counter due to the tape on the spray nozzle. Needless to say I'm rather pissed. :cussing: I'm thinking "what the hell was she doing that she had to put tape on that?" Later on, after the caffine began to sink in, I realized it was April 1st. So I began scheming.

So after taking the tape off the nozzle, I took it apart and remove the spring that holds the button up. The result is it begins to spray as soon as the faucet is turned on. With the tape removed it looks perfectly normal. :evil

So this afternoon Mrs TG gets up. Right away I let into her how I didn't appreciate her little stunt. I also tell her she owes me big time for not deliberately stomping and slamming things around the bedroom while getting dry clothes while she was trying to sleep. She was so proud of herself for "getting me" on April fool's day.

So then she goes to get a glass of water. I'm spying on her as she inspects the spray nozzle. It looks perfectly normal. She turns the faucet on and whoosh!!!! She gets drenched!!!:yahoo:yahoo:roflmao

PAYBACKS SUCK DON'T THEY!!!!!!!! :tounge:tounge

My friend convinced his 8 y.o. (while on the way to school) that April Fool's day had been officially moved to April 2.

Another friend was making her daughter's lunch. She carefully slit open the bottom of the individual Cheetos bag, emptied the contents, refilled it with baby carrots, then hot-glued the bottom back. I can't wait until next year to get my daughter.

As kids, we used to poke two holes in the bottom of a soda can with a small nail or ice pick, drain the contents, and fill it up with water or other beverage. Then we'd dry the area around the holes, cover with a piece of clear tape, and wait for the fun to begin. We thought this was a good idea to try on Dad with a can of beer (replaced beer with water), but after a hard day working in the sun... he failed to see the humor! :roflmao
