I'am getting ready to change my antifrezze in my truck. My question is i use the motorcraft gold that is what the truck call's for. Do i still need to add the fw-16 coolant additive with this.

Not if you use the Gold Antifreeze, it is in the coolant.

With a 2003 you can use the same stuff that the OTR trucks use. It has a CAT rating
and Delo, CAT, and others sell it. No more test strips, and that GOLD stuff didnt even
meet spec straight from the bottle.
Usually have to go to a truck stop or a distributer to get it, I have never seen it in the
bling shops.. Oh I mean our current "Auto Parts Stores"
