Aloha all,
I'm crazy about diesel. Recently I picked up a 1991 Ford F-250 XL 4x4 7.3 idi. Some photos are here: Picasa Web Albums - Jonathan (part 2) - Diesel Engines
Where I'm in the process of having it converted - by changing the fuel lines - to biodiesel.
Anybody interested in conversions or finding a mechanic on Oahu, Hawaii, do let me know. I would refer you some very knowledgeable people at Outlaw Diesel Performance :: Home
Anyway my interests are of course include seeing what can be done to advance the state of knowledge on diesels, mods for the F-250 diesel, and dealing with all aspects of biodiesel. I use the truck mainly to haul compost, pickup firewood, and for deliveries. It is indispensable for a farm and nursery operation, esp. in areas where there's dirt come mud roads during the winter here.
Hopefully I can contribute some experiences here. Or if for kava, of course, there's Hawaiian Kava Forum (also via hawaiiankava.com -click "Discussions") or http://kavafestival.org
