Just wanted to get some feedback, before I decide on what to go with. I have a 2002 F350 4x4 7.3 with 71,000 completly stock. I want to go with a air filter setup/ and stainless exhaust without breaking the bank. I want my engine to breath better and hopefully help the fuel milage a little.

Thanks

You have a few options. You can build your own intake. Search "DIY intake" or you can clock on some of the sponsors listed at the top of the forums page and search. Afe and Tymar are good intakes. Stay away from K&N. As far as exhaust goes, there are quite a few to choose from. Find one that fits you budget and go with it.

The DIY intake will set you back about 50 bucks. it is ALMOST as good as the afe stage II, but considerably cheaper. your truck will be able to breathe very well with this setup and will allow you to add serious horsepower.

As far as exhaust goes, and I speak from experience...dont try and cut corners. i bought an off brad exhaust and had to make a decent amount of modifications to it to get it to fit right. by the time I cut it and refit it, i could have ended up getting an MBRP. Go with the MBRP and do it right. I wish I would have done that and not been stuck with the crap I've got.

DIY intake will help out. larger exhaust will push the powerband sweet spot up the curve a little bit. as far as mileage goes i doubt you will see much. it will feel much better though.
