Hey everybody recently new to the site and I was wondering if anybody had ever put there fuel tanks on the side of their truck like semi's have. Or if anyone could direct me to somewhere to get something like that it would be greatly appreciated. Also it would be on a 2007 F-250

I had thought about getting one and mounting it in the bed for a aux tank, but I think you'll have a difficult time finding a tank that's small enough to fit under your bed. You might look around your area for a big truck salvage yard...probably the best place to start looking for something that might work.

One thought --you might see about AIR tanks -- may be able to get one that would work for you -- you'd need to do some mods, but it might just work.

If you've got a lift, you might be able to find some of the smaller square tanks, like the ones on an IHC 4300 straight truck. Not sure how it would look under your doors???!!!! That is the way your thinking, right?:dunno

Well I don't have a lift but I've been looking at maybe a rancho or a fabtech and if so I might try what your talking about, but I drive a lot on the roads and I just hate stopping and having to fill up a bunch.

The tanks on straight trucks at work hold about 50 gals. You might be just as well to bu one of the bigger under truck replacement tanks. You would get more fuel cap. and keep the clean look. I'm guessing you do not want one in the bed, so I guess you don't have a lot of options.
