Could some one with a scan tool verify my findings?

I've had the herkie jerkies when trying to maintain 1500rpm in any gear and any programing even stock. The hotter programs will almost throw me out of the seat when I've tried it.

What I found was the voltage from the sensor is .54V at idle. If I squeeze it down slowly(parked) the RPMs don't come up until it gets to .92V. The RPM reading was also taken with AE so I could watch them side by side on the screen. My thinking is that if the voltage changes, the RPM should too.:dunno

Do I have a dead spot at very light throttle and need a new pedal assembly or is this normal?-popcorn

TIA!:thumbs

your RPMs arent gonna go up untill thethrottle on/off switch has
been activated.when you step on the throttle you should hear a click, thats the on/off switch.after you hear the click the the rpms should come up when stepping further on the pedal.if you dont hear the click check to make sure the switch is either working or not working.

also depending on the chip programs you have some of them make the throttlevery touchy.one program i have if i just tap the throttle itll throw me in the back seeat.and during normal cruising its constantly jerkin back forth.really have to learn to "drive" this program.unfortunately i cant get readings off my truck for you untill i get my injectors back hopefully some time this week.

also a seriously worn transmission, rear end or clutch springs will cause a jerky feeling.

I'll check on the click.

The clutch has almost 40k on it now. I know the synchros are going, I hope it's not the tranny!:( It's only when trying to maintain 1500rpm and the gear doensn't matter.:dunno

if there is alot of play in the drivetrain from the springs in the clutch disk to the rear end the truck will have a jerky feeling to it.

Hmmm, refresh my memory Antonio, I though the GO pedal was good from 1V upto 4V? Been awhile since I jogged that portion of my brain though.

Ehhhhh, I was wrongo again Antonio.

From Baz's site.

AP: Accelerator Pedal position sensor Load/demand input; PCM uses this to determine mass fuel desired, adjusts fuel delivery through IPR duty cycle and fuel pulse width and injection timing; 5 volts in, 0.5-0.7 volts at idle, 4.5 volts at WOT. PID: AP
