Mine is 1/2"......works great. Bypass goes to coolant filter.

Which line is the supply? The passenger or the drivers side? Looks like the passenger side.

Me 2! I can not figure out which vacuum line to tap into. NONE appear to be 1/8". The colors are not consistent either- searching the dark side, I have seen black, and red called out.

"You can tee into the white line for the valve to function in the MAX position only or into the red line for it to function in any position that uses a dash vent. Any floor vent position will allow hot water to pass. So that means that you can crank your truck and switch to the defrost position and blow all that hot air out of your face with cold AC. Then switch back to AC for the rest of the cooling.

here are some pictures that were referenced-

ALso, I have read about the silver vacuum actuator. Mine is black.

Can anyone who hooked up the valve to the blend control post a picture?

Well, my valve is already installed. I just need to know how to hook up the vacuum line. Pics would be great, if not I think I will take all day on Sat to research it.

I cant answer the question about which line but I have an alternative that I plan to do soon. This mod operates any time you turn on the system regardless of whether or not you particularly want it to in any given situation. You will not be able to turn the temp dial down if you are too cold you will simply have to turn it off and wait until you get too hot again. I have found a vacuum solenoid that, together with a dash switch, will take care of this issue by allowing you to flip the switch to shut off the water flow at will regardless of where your air control is set (air, vent, heat, defrost, whatever). Then if it is too cold you turn it off and you can change the temp with the dial again. This solenoid is where you will run the vac line and you skip t-ing into anything in the existing system.

Solenoid

then you only need a power switch. Someone on here, forgot who now, has done it and it apparently works just fine.
