Been gone for a few days, some of you may have noticed, some of you might not care.....:tongue2

I took a trip up to the north country to visit the folks for the weekend, its supposed to be right in the heat of the harvest season but they have been unfortunately blessed with about 10" of rain right in the middle of their small grain harvest. We managed to bury the combine up to the axles on Saturday trying to find some dry ground to harvest. Sunday we were a little more successful.

Pre mud-fest.

Drier ground, dust flying is a good thing.

Hey I know that big red machine! :D Inside and out....I preferred the inside where the A/C is but breakdowns kept me outside ALOT.:cussing:

Hope the yields were good. We had anywhere from 40-60 bushels/acre depending on the field we were at. And the price of wheat right now is :sweet !

YES!!! I too know that combine like the back of my hand. We yielded 78.5(the .5 is just for braging :tounge) this year. Best wheat we have ever seen, and the most acres of wheat we have ever put out. Sadly we contracted half at $4.50, but sold the rest at $5.00. This is gonna be one hell of a year for our crops. Our beans look great, our corn looks average, our beef tastes DELICIOUS!!
