I have a 1997 F250 ford diesel.
It broke down three weeks ago. We took it to a local repair shop and they have had it since. They put it on the computer and it said to replace the throttle position sensor and crank sensor. They opted to clean the contacts and drive it around awhile to see if it fails. Needless to say we are a bit annoyed that we have waited around for four weeks now.
My question is where are these sensors and how do I go in and replace them myself? Instructions and pictures would be awesome.
Thanks

ok well last i knew you had to buy the complete throttle pedal to replace the TPS.but anyways its on the throttle pedal inside the cab.its the sensor on the top of it.2 screws hold it on.very easy to swap just the sensor or the hole pedal assembly.

i have a whole pedal assembly i can either sell the whole thing to you or just sell the TPS off of it.ill let the whole assembly go for 60.00 shipped to your door or the sensor for 30.00 shipped.i do take paypal.or postal money orders if you want it.
