6.0 vacuum

I am personally a fan of the diesel grunt, I like the throaty sound of the old 7.3s at idle. My friend just bought a 6.0 and decided to straight pipe it, now I dont know how many people are out there that think this but I think that a 6.0L straightpiped sounds more like a vacuum cleaner than a diesel pickup. Im gonna ask him if hes got a Hoover or an Orek under the hood. I just wanted to know how many people thought the same thing if there are any.

I personally think when inching they sound like a Harrier winding up...
