with old ab payin me a visit the past 2 weeks,(penny in the connector) i had to put this on the back burner. im goina put a trany cooler from a 6.0 in. does any one have tips or pointers to do this fairly easily?

Have you already obtained the 6.0L trans cooler? If not I suggest the V10 Trans cooler for it's pretty much a straight swap,just have to adjust the lines a tad where they connect up 
A fellow Excursion owner had recently added a 6.0L cooler to his truck and it basically required (2) 3/8" to 1/2" hose barb adapters and a couple clamps.
