40/20/40 armrest (wanna pull apart)

I'm looking to mount a remote base control (for my JL 500/1).
Anyone know how the Center Fold Down "armrest" comes apart on
the 40/20/40 seat ?

fwiw im thinking of mounting this small (black) knob between
the cup holders in the black plastic.

I had the inner lid off from the inside. There's a few small Torx screws holding it together. I think the inner tray comes out the same way, but you would have to remove the liner to do it.

removing the lid is the easy part...all those screws are exposed.
what i want/need to remove is the semi-hard (color matching)
plastic above/around the front of the cup holders

Looks like you have to pull the felt off the bottom on the inside and that whole inner "bucket" unbolts. I just ran out and looked at mine. Seems like its bolted in or clipped in, but whatever holds it is under the fabric on the bottom.

well i got the color matching "pad" plastic off...its held down
by some clips...the way they have the plastic molded theres
next to no access.

for now ill drop the knob down between my seat...im really
crazy about mounting it in the dash.
