I got my truck back from the shop, and the mech said i should put my quadzilla prog back on, Now he did clear the codes, I am guessing the egr delete will trip one. I put the programmer back on and noticed the engine light is on in the gauges, so I took it back out ( for the last time, liked my edge better) and the light is still on. Would unhooking the map sensor, coolant, oil and icp cause this, as this is where the prog plugs into. Do i just need to get the codes cleared again

Once the codes are set they will stick around for several states (like 6 or 8) or until you clear them with a scanner. I do not know it the programmers can clear codes, I don't think so.

I was wondering if since i unplugged the sensors and replugged them if that might have turned my check engine light on.

if you did an egr elete, it will set a code and may turn the CEL light on....need to see what the code(`s) is for sure....if it is a egr code, you will need to get custom programming (SCT tuner/programmer with custom tunes)to address that issue....with an SCT, you can check and clear codes....

get the codes cleared and see what happens....

I'm hoping our mech is at work tomorrow, we have a scanner tool, so he can find the code and clear it
