Hi I am waiting arrival for my first ford truck . I have the snow plow pkg option added to my order and had a question . I know that the pkg consisted of heavier front springs , does anyone on here have this option and if so does the truck sit level or does it still have the rake to it ? I wanted to try and run 33's and I am not sure if they will fit without a leveling kit

Thanks
Tom

I have it on my 09 and the front still sat 2.5-3" lower than the rear. I added a 2.5" leveling kit and it sits nice now. I'm running 325/65/18's, which are the equivalent of a 35x13.5" tire, with no rubbing at all.

Hi Bob

Thanks for the info are you running the factory rims ? If so what is the width . I am going to have the 20 " wheels . Do you think that 33X 12.50 X 20 will fit with out the leveling kit then ?

I see you live in cranberry I live down rt 19 in wexford

Tom,
I have an '09 F250 with the 6.4L, it has the snow plow and FX4 packages. It sits level front to rear, and the stock tires are 275/65-20. These are a true 33" tall by 10.5" wide tire, (measured with a tape-measure). Hope this helps with your decision.

F250's often sit level because they have a smaller rear block, so comparing to an F350, they usually will appear to sit level.

I run the factory 20" wheels in winter with 325/60/20 Nitto Terra Grappler's, which also are 35" tall and approx. 13" wide. Factory 20's are 8" wide. In Summer I use the tires and wheels listed in my signature. 33's will DEFINITELY fit without a leveling kit, they may even look small.

I live just north of you in Cranberry, actually grew up in Franklin Park, even closer to where you are. Welcome to SDD!
