2008 F-350 - paddle style mirror to non-power towing mirror.

I have done a lot of searching for swapping out paddle style mirrors for towing mirrors...but did not come across any threads addressing changing out 2008 paddle style mirrors for towing mirrors.

I have a 2008 F-350 XLT with the paddle style mirrors - I would like to get the towing mirrors as I can't see around my boat when towing. My paddle style mirrors are power adjustable but I am looking at non-power towing mirrors (much cheaper - found some online for $135 per mirror).

Do you have to remove the door panel to swap out the mirrors since there will be no power running to the mirror?

Anyone have the aftermarket non-power towing mirrors? How do you like them?

the door panels are insanely easy to remove.. one screw below the window switch if memory serves.. the panel just pops up and off..

the mirrors should be a bolt-on swap after the old one is disconnected.

I put the '08 big mirrors on my '01 which had paddle style mirrors on it. Very easy to do. I love them. Someday, when the prices come down more, I will get the power mirrors with blinkers. Awesome mirrors though. Very big and having two separate mirrors is great for backing/switching lanes. Door panels, like JLDickmon said, are very easy to remove.
